Dr. Edward Ahrens
is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Ahrens received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He attended medical school at Wayne State University, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Michigan State University and his Nephrology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is the founding member of Madison Area Renal Specialists. As of 2017 Dr. Ahrens is retired and no longer follows patients in the outpatient clinic.
Dr. Christoph Eggert
is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Eggert received his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College. He attended medical school at Loyola Medical College, he completed his Internal Medicine residency where he was chief resident as well as his Nephrology fellowship at Mayo in Rochester, MN. Dr. Eggert joined Madison Area Renal Specialists in 2007.
Dr. Gloria Song
is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Song received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College, completed an internship at the University of Michigan, completed both her residency and Nephrology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Song joined Madison Area Renal Specialists in 2009.
Dr. Sameer Pandeya
is board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease and Nephrology. Dr. Pandeya attended medical school at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. He completed his residency at Interfaith Medical Center in New York City. He then completed an Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He worked for 4 years as a Hospitalist/Infectious Disease Specialist in Bismarck, ND. Most recently Dr. Pandeya completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics before joining Madison Area Renal Specialists in 2018. Dr. Pandeya is fluent in English, Nepali and Hindi.
